I think not. We have had some new users registering that were not registered on old. The activity is pretty low on old one too...Only 2 updates and one is that of EQ if that counts

This one has youtube embedded, new users can register, posting on game server latest topics. Looks pretty good to me and the way to move forward.

Everyone still uses the original one.
I expected much worse while starting it.
Now we have almost the whole active war2 community registered here, except maybe 3-5 contradictive users.
There's not many people posting something both there and here, but we have active core of users here on the new forum, and that's the best thing.
The most problem for the new empty forum is that's psychologically difficult to post on the empty forum, and this problem should be resolved soon. Most people just waiting and looking around this new unknown thing before coming.
But we have to handle both forums for a long time, we will see which one will be more active. Everything just begins.
Another important thing to say: I don't want to contradict the old forum: I should use both of them.
It's not easy for me sometimes, because i feel this one as something like my baby and requires all my care, but that's important thing: our main care is people, doesn't matter which forum do they use.

I don't think it will be a failure considering all the players who can't report to admins regarding things like denied ss cause of no forum registration on the old site and can report these things to an RU admin on here. (There could be timezone troubles etc which prevent them from contacting an admin in game for these kind of things) If it doesnt bring the old forum users over it will at least bring in a new atmosphere of forum users here like perhaps a majority of the custom players, as I notice not too many chop players have forum accounts on the other forum. There's been quite a few registrations already, and there will continue to be more, and when people find themselves having issues with either in-game stuff or with players, they will register an account to report it instantly.

This forum does have a lot of cool bells and whistles and is far superior to the old one in every way.

Actually i think if they can add this background ( the original one of the main war2ru website ) on this forum, This forum gonna be perfect.

I don't think is a failure at all, it's still very young and already has lots of user registrations and a steady stream of new posts. iL's right, concurrent forums is going to be an ongoing thing for the foreseeable future, and it's absolutely necessary given that no new users can register on the old one.

Its doing allright. There are new registrations daily, I made this post mostly just to stir up some conversation. The recent posts thing on the bottom is awesome btw.
