It has also happened to me a few times. Don't remember when the first time was but second was when I was in game lobby. No error messages or anything just plain crash to desktop.

You can also disable the sound by choosing so when installing the game.

Although I used mic in 2 streams, it seems I'll rarely be able to use mic again because my house is hectic and loud. You guys can talk crap all you want about EQ. But the dude is real.5% of the time being nice and 95% being a toxic kid isn't a very good ratio though

Believe it or not even in 2021 there are lots of places where good internet is simply not an option, especially in rural areas and they have to deal with some shitty 4g and whatnot. Like woofy said he had 3 bad experiences with this 5 sec drop already, so I'd say make it something like 10-15 seconds. No need to change it back to 45 secs if someone lags that long he has most likely lost the connection already or lags so bad the game is unplayable.
This game is very sensitive about the quality of the connection and I can see that is gonna be abused by the losing players.

I had to disable Avast web protection in order to download, so it might be your antivirus that is blocking the download. Try disabling it and see if it helps. Also the download page is not working correctly right now so did you try to download it straight from http://ftp.war2.ru/war2/?
