Just a small present for Christmas :P
Here's the online utility to check if your forwarded port is open or closed for joining games.
http://server.war2.ru/port_tester.php (http://server.war2.ru/port_tester.php)
Just run war2, join the server and check your port.
It will show your port is opened if your war2 answers the request, otherwise you have some connection problems.

Yes, should show open as long as you you are being connected to bnet server.
In the chat lobby, in the game lobby, in a game also.
Should show close when you logout bnet server.

Yeah you need to at least be in the chat lobby before testing this. When I tested without war2 open it came up as closed, logged in and now it says open.

This is a great tool! I haven't gotten it to work correctly with 16112 yet though, further messing about may be necessary.
