Hi everyone, new member here. As in "new to BNE and multiplayer".
I wonder if bots are a thing in multiplayer games. Can I team up with my friend and play against AI-controlled players? It would be much more fun than playing against each other, because of our different skill levels and a total lack of competitiveness.
If that's possible, I'd love to know how exactly can I do that.
Thanks and bye-bye! ©

Hello! Welcome to RU!!! Great to have you!
You can actually pick top vs bottom mode or melee. Then add computers to the empty slots. With meleee you will have to hit the allies tab at top right and select your buddy.
Computers can be fun to play against. The more open the map is, the more competitive it can be(computers run into trees). Maps like plains of snow, blood bath, and some others are like this.
Have fun!!

Welcome to the server! Stick around and eventually start to compete with others and be sure to join the tournaments!

Thanks everyone! I'll try it out when I get the chance.

wow you really are making a lot of threads :D Nice to see the forum being used as intended! I'm pretty sure bots aka "computers" only work with the "Melee" game type setting, after you host you can assign them to any slot:

You & your friends can ally against them but you can't ally a computer. multiple computers are automatically allied to one another

Thank you! I can't host games yet, but I'll be sure to show this to my friend so that we can play together. Just the two of us against armies of bots :D

Again almost everyday, comps games are hosted. Where players apply against bots. At difficult maps. Trust me some of them are challenging and you and your friends will be more than welcome to join.
