What genius, in the last year, decided it was a good idea for obs to be able to remove other obs? How in the world did that get implemented?

Server.War2.ru / Confirmed: SG is Retarded

Has anyone ever played with SG and, when he loses he blames you for fucking up and sometimes he even rages!?!?! OFC, everyone has and out of all active players he is probably the most arrogant. So, we are doing a 4s yesterday, I'm at 12 vs 2 (lux) and hes at 9. He gives me 2 pults and then, as we wind up losing in the end, blames me. SHOCKER! He says he won't ally me again, I'm bad, that I never listen, yada yada yada, right? We've all heard it.
So, I ask him for some constructive criticism, after we go back and forth a bit. I want to learn. I want to see what he saw. I want to see what I did wrong. I know hes a top player and maybe instead of arguing with him about what actually happened, I will listen. Shit, maybe I'm wrong after all. So, he tells me what I did wrong and tells me I lost my 8 grunts to 2 grunts because I wasn't watching. He also bitch about how I lost his pults as well and how could I be so bad to do so? Then proceeds to tell me it's all recorded on his stream.
I say, fuck it, I want to see it because I don't recall it and I always argue with him about the game afterwards. So, I check it and, NOPE, he was 100% wrong. His pults died because I had 3 red grunts left after the big battle and he left them there for a while. OFC they will die. Then after that, I basically had a consistent 6 grunts in 2 atking. The reason I lost when I did? Cuz SG's nib at 11 ran into my base with grunts. ROFL
Even though most of us hate the way SG acts, it turns out, his rage isn't even legit. He literally just cries after a loss, blames you, when believe it or not, its his own fault sometimes. I know we all think this but this is literal proof. Anyone else who is a top player is just too much of a pussy to call him out. Yes, top players have told me he was wrong but don't call him out.
Then he says I atked the wrong rax at 2, in an attempt to overlook the fact that he was wrong already. One rax was choked because I couldn't move much further in due to whites GTs/poor positioning and I was atking and killed the other one. WRONG AGAIN SG. Mr. Infalible.
Now, I actually do have respect SG as a player. His skill level is top tier and watching that game, his ability to multitask is very good. I can't take that away from him but SG, if you're going to be an asshole, at least be correct when you are one, otherwise it just makes you look stupid. If you don't know the answer, don't randomly blame people and attempt to back it up with BS. He wouldn't admit he was wrong so, I leave it up to the people who could stomach reading this.

Just curious but who is "Roam". This name, an assumed Bot, is constantly in the channel with a "?" for region location on the server status page and has a profile saying "FL, USA, Roamer, I will always love this game!" Has no AH nor whatever hell that green circle is. (HP?)
This name has been 0-0-0 since I've noticed it.
I know iL has his bots or whatever they are the "(....)" in a "not joined yet" channel and there are other random oddly named misc names that pop up and go away. I just wanted to make sure we aren't missing something.

Just curious if this is something that could be done.
Chop- I guess anyone can do this, in a sense, but I would encourage chop players to do so but it would be nice if there was a way to watch chop, so people can learn. I know that is difficult to do besides the obvious, have players start in like a spot in the very corner (maybe with 1 farm for insurance). But then you have the issue of initial starting positions (can no longer be random). It would just be nice to be able to watch/learn for even myself or new people because unlike GOW, that can't really effectively be done I believe.
Timeouts- For training purposes, it would be nice to have a MAP with more timeouts, either unlimited or like 10-15 of them. This way, while we are playing, I can timeout and speak to the person, as opposed to them having to read it on the fly as they are scrambling to keep up with their own base. Naturally, this would specifically be for some sort of training map. Say only 1v1 or 2v1 is allowed for the map (so ppl like PB dont host it and drive everyone crazy).
Just a couple of ideas I wanted to throw out there in case anything can be done to help the new players of the community.

Crazy..... Ever since the holidays, at night, like 8PM Central+ there have been probably 15-20 people on. Tonight, there are 12 right now and one of them is that (...) bot thing. So, really 11. Most are afk. So.... 4-5? Very sad.
Maybe people are pooped from playing a lot during the holidays but I've never seen it this dead. It was getting like this around 10 or 11PM before but now it's 9PM. :0

@iL someone has been trying to do it all day with bots coming in and logging off asap with a script being typed. Looks like they finally figured it out. Currently being flooded. Soon to be down I'm sure.

Angel has been having this problem for years now. He seems to consistently conflict with the same people and then randomly with others. He's tried VPN, new IP, others using VNP, others changing IP, and probably some other stuff but with no success.
I'm going to assume someone on here is able to help him or provide some suggestions. I ask because he is not on the forums and I would like to help him.

Couple of things about this guy.
1) Cel can you confirm you know him and he's new?
2) If he is new, he is impressively new. Built and rushed pretty well for someone that is new. Compared to people who cannot make a farm. He still had issues finding gold and stuff in the map but once he gets goin, hes pretty decent Tier1, FOR SOMEONE WHO IS NEW.
3) He says he watches Cel's stream (and u8s?) and just started War2.
4) Says he was a good SC1 and SC2 player so he understands the game enough.
5) He says he wants to play this game to be good.
6) Says hes been looking at the online tutorials that Cel told him to check out
7) Says he keeps getting banned from all games. I decided to play him 1s a few times cuz I felt bad for him. I thought he was trolling me like JustinDag does to me when I try to be nice to new people.
I ask that you don't ban him and let him play/help him. If what he is saying is legit (Cel please confirm) and he is only 20 games in and playing this well, he is going to be pretty damn good pretty fast. At least let him watch.

Hey everyone, I will be hosting a GOWEF tournament on Sunday October 25th (Don't forget Smeagol's tourney on the 24th!) at 1030AM Central time (1130PM EST). I'm debating if 10:30AM is better. This way it is before everyone's day starts and before football, for the people in the US.
This tourney, as previously done by Burnt, is going to be a 2v2 smurf tourney. The smurf names must be Halloween theme related (for fun!). Akas are encouraged to NOT be given out until the end of the tournament. If someone has lost, I guess that is okay for the losing team to reveal themselves. But, if you just lost to a team, please don't ask for the winners akas because it will get around to everyone before the tourney is over. The purpose is for people to not know who is who. That is part of the fun.
The teams will NOT be random. You may pick your pard and create your Halloween smurf names.
I do ask, if someone can please advertise this on Facebook or any other means of communication besides the forum/actual game. That would be most helpful.
Payouts will be (thanks to Tora)- $50 TOTAL for the winning team ($25 each person) and $20 for 2nd place ($10 for each person)
At the end, 1st and 2nd place will need to reveal their akas (and log on them) for official payouts.
Rounds will depend on the amount of players. It will be BO3s and BO5s only.

Server.War2.ru / GOW Fix Feedback Wanted

I'm going to make small fixes to GOW. I know this may not be popular but I mostly ask that you try it out and give me some feedback. GOW TE, last I recall, has a lot more changes. This is simply 2-3 clicks of grass/no grass changes total.
1) I added 1 grass spot to 6, so you can hall 1 spot closer.
2) I took away the chop at 8, so you can hall closer. In 3s/4s, imo, the s9 gay is still worth it but when you expo now, at least you are closer. You can also build 8 if you chose though.
3) This is the one I'm not 100% sure about. To take away the 1 chop from 4. I'm leaning towards no. 4 is def at a disadv but all I fixed for 6/8 was being able to hall closer. Those 2 spots still have disadvantages, just not as much.
Changing 4 is now taking a spot that can hall close, and changing it. Now, a fast GT under 4 is useless early on and walls are more optional, as you can further chop 4.
