i honestly like the spots.

if i never got 4 i would never do a lvl 2 2 grunt rush, convert to lust/or convert to chop out 2 rax rush w/cat depending on what enemy is doing
if i never got 6 i would rarely go on towering rampages
if i never got s9 i would rarely dual.. or rarely 13 peon lust, or p stop rush

they mix it up and foce me to do strats that i wouldnt normally do. i like the challenges of the locations.. but i like challenging games.

and i can tell based on how many others respond to losses, they're in it to win.. challenge or no challenge. they want a win.

i can honestly say if im winning too much i lose interest.

your post doesnt hold up to any scrutiny.  you can still do all those strategies at fair/modified spots.  you say you rarely would, but seems like the only reason you wouldnt elect to do so is to win, which is the opposite of what you claim your goals are.

I can at least understand on a philosophical/principle level why people might be against banning Van for being so toxic, cancerous, and shitty for years.

What I can't understand is why anyone would defend or actually like the guy.

Bara was my favorite player to watch.  Always said he had a very "elegant" style.  Great macro but also a finesse micro player, very smart.

I used to talk shit to people under the name liljamal and then he'd log in and beat them for me.  Fun times.

Yeah kosmodanger.  "I like milk."  And we had a little clan [tk] with you, me, and Peon.  Kept in touch with him for many years but lost him around 2015ish.

Idk which of the two (maybe both) is responsible but Swift and SG have barely ever played each other.  I called Swift out on this once and he said they've played hundreds of times, but there's no record of this on any of their ladder accounts.  I think I counted around ten matches between them.

This game fucks with your dopamine, like any addiction.  Which is why you'll see people not play for months or a year, then come back and play daily for months.  Once you escape the cycle of dopamine highs and lows its easy to forget about the game entirely.  I havent played in 6+ months and have no interest, despite playing pretty much every day for months before that.  Though part of that is because of Fortnite, which is a much more fun game.
