Bad Maps from the 90's 2v2 $100 Prize Tournament
« on: June 11, 2025, 08:20:48 AM »

You think you’ve played bad maps. Once you’ve seen what Warcraft 2 players came up with 30 years ago in the 90s, you’ll have a whole new perspective. We had some suffering during playtesting maps for this tournament. Some near rage quits. Blood boiling. We looked for really the worst crap we could find. These maps aren’t for the weak. It takes a special fortitude to engage on battlegrounds that are far from optimal. You’re used to being spoon-fed and hand-held. Only the most brazen, fearless, versatile, dynamic players are expected to materialize for this wild, first-of-its-kind event. If you don’t have a strong stomach, don’t bother.

Thanks to all the players who’ve been helping with playtesting maps to find the absolute trashiest of the bad maps for this event! Gouda, Lost~One, usee, DesmondHume, w2mactruck, chenjesu, TGS, riky, TrustedTokens, CharlieChoplin, Seuss, and I think a few others were in some of the games that aren’t coming to mind at the moment.

How are teams decided?

Teams will be assigned based on estimated seeding. Ie. 10+1, 9+2, 8+3, etc

Okay I'm down! I'll pard Dopa of course!

Those maps REALLY look pretty shitty I like that.

UPD: I guess the time is pretty shitty for EU, so... next time.

Is a tourney for US players only. 3:30 am on Europe.
Usually sat/sun at 21:00 CET you can have everyone playing.

Looks a very nice tour to have such timezone limitations , a pitty
