Fix Alt-Tab behavior?

I have 2 monitors and like to bounce between multiple things at once (messages and such) but Warcraft II behaves oddly when I alt-tab, forcing all my windows onto monitor 1 (and it is of course slow to alt-tab because it is fullscreen). Are there any ways to patch this behavior, or enable a windowed fullscreen mode?

Edit: I discovered the config menu that can enable windowed mode after a quick look, would delete post but am unable to
