This is how I solved it, there are many other ways I guess. I'm also showing an alternate ending in the video, but I don't have the patience to get all the oil, so I used glittering prizes, but I could have gotten the oil without cheat.

well, LOL you still need to touch them at some point because you need to stack many of them in one place to jump later
so you cannot avoid it completely lol

No it's not true, I finished the map with not touching teal peons and you only need 7 units in the end to hop to one of the dragons.

Very nice mockup! Not sure yet if like it, it's a bit over the top TBH... I guess it would look better on a higher resolution like 1920x1080 but for 1280x704 it's just too big?

Player names are cool, should be easy to patch in. I'll give it a try soon

In my opinion it's not too big. But I guess we all have different preferences. It's important to keep track of the mini map during play. For me I think it is the biggest downside with playing high resolution, that the mini map becomes so small, in percentage to the playing area, compared to low resolution. Would be a more legacy high resolution mode, if proportions stayed the same. But I understand if people don't like it.

That's probably going to be a lot of work, I guess we would have to switch the minimap from 128x128 to 256x256 to make that happen... But that would mean the entire sidebar has to be redone (would probably take weeks to complete!)

Ah, I see. I guess it's not the graphics that would take time, but the development? I just made a fast sketch how it would look like. :)
Also added the player names / colors to the bottom left, since I think that would also be a great improvement.

I edited my own chat background, thought the one included was a bit too pixelated and dark. I attach it if anyone playing with 1280x704.

Would be nice if you had a bigger mini map at higher resolutions. I can help with the graphics if it is something you want to develop, fois. It would be a great improvement, because the mini map is a bit too small on high resolutions.
I can also make the lobby graphics for wide screen if you need.

Nah, it should be possible to ban IP:s. It's not easy to switch ip fast, and you got to have access to all these ip:s. That's how you stop DDOS attacks, it's totally possible.

I'm playing in HD, so I think it wouldn't be too big, at least worth a test. Also you could set a limit of how long the text is allowed to be, since in most cases you only need to see the first part of the name.
Also maybe it is better to write out the color of the player instead of changing the color of the text, it might be too disturbing with too much colors, hard to know without testing.

Could we introduce an option in the in-game interface that displays all player names in the bottom corner of the screen? The names should be colored to match the players' colors and should indicate which team they are on or if they are observers. This would eliminate the need to click the allies tab to determine a player's color. Such a feature would enhance both game streaming and recording experiences. ^-^

Warcraft 2 need change if community want grow up to have more people than 1 gow
1) manner( I understand you can write that someone suck no problem but going to attack ad person is not acceptale and should be banned doesnt matter if you are playing this game 1 year or 20 years)
2) maps, we need play more maps, many people are asking me at chat "hey maybe sea map?" but what I can answer? no cause finding someone who will play it(in decent lvl) is like 0%, if they see many maps maybe some of them will play? few people allready log from twitch/youtube
3) BALANCE, yes we need change it somehow that human should be able to have chance win in late game when orc got bloodlust, but it must be FOR ALL not making another "lobby mod" like did it ealier when you can pick (if you guys ever played for example Red Alert 2 alliance tanks suck hard but they patched it for have all races not only soviet)

1) I've always been trying to be friendly with both old and new players. But you been very bad mannered towards me, and talking crap about me, al though I never did anything towards you (or teaboy). I have no hard feelings towards anyone in this game, but it is really sad when other talking crap towards you and behind your back...

2) Maps I put down hours of hours to make new balanced map for competitive play, because I know other RTS games have much better maps. This is a big issue in war2. But there is no chance that my maps gets played, because you refuse to even try them once. Then you tell everyone else to not play them and talks crap about them, while never ever tried them. Also I just want people to play them so I can get feed back and eventually make the best maps. I'm a skilled editor and willing to put time into this, but it's been impossible because of this closed attitude.

Did you make new maps or you just copy paste maps from warcraft 3? You are mad cause I dont want play it?

I made a collection of balanced (hopefully) maps for competitive play, inspired by other successful RTS maps. I've would love to know if they work for War2, and if they don't it would be very interesting to see why. And I'm willing to continue to work to get a set of competitive, creative, fun and balanced maps. Even if these collection I already made is not working out...

And no I'm not mad, but I'm sad that you won't support my effort to make better maps for war2, since both you and I understand this is a big issue. And also it makes me sad that you acting BM towards me and my efforts. I asked you nicely many times to give feed back on the maps, because I value your opinion and I know it will be hard to get this going if you fighting against me.

My chop map is another topic, but that is also sad. You guys talks bad about it, but refuse to give feed back what you think is wrong. I put a lot of time into it to make it balanced in time to get gold. All spots gets gold at same time with perfect chop. But I know there could be other things that makes the map unbalanced, but I would like to know what. I know for sure it is much better than many other maps that is played today, where there is no power mine in certain positions. I made an effort and tried to create a standard chop map, because there is so many that is wrong.
