They screwed up the war3 Remaster, graphics alone wouldn’t make that big a difference.
I think it would be more realistic if we either paid a reverse engineer to figure out most of the war2 source code or redesign it from scratch. This would allow us to add extra goodies like a Third race.
A traditional mode or enhanced mode where Heal acts as a proximity spell with a better mana ratio, cheaper exorcism, better skeletons, greater slow proximity from mages, etc... Maybe each race has a slight unique advantage for early, mid or late game. KHB probably still has the sc2 engine we could use.
Realistically, Blizzard lost its way when they merged with Activision and Vivendi. Some of us could contribute talent, others would be willing to contribute resources. We would need a solid point man to coordinate all the efforts and gauge the feasibility and time frame to completion if people are down. This would be mere pocket Change for Swift D. RothsChild

Routing traffic for deep packet inspection by the Kremlin and censoring content they find objectionable. Heard Apple may even stop selling iPhones in Russia for refusing to package spyware in new phones. Why is your country so afraid of letting people speak their mind? Why do you tolerate Putin, cost of being free too great?

I prefer warvid over insight as the APM and other prompts I find distracting during a close game.
Would be nice if each gaming session could be categorized into a graphical thumb nail play list at the end. Then,
I have the option of highlighting & exporting the best games to mp4 format and discard or leave the others in dk2.
Default would be to just list the games, but having a separating drop down arrow would be useful occasionally
if an epic chat rape or rage log (or rage pause) that ensues after a bad loss!
Twitch is cool, but i’d rather only post the best games not some of the garbage cook bookers that won’t attract new players.
Also, people sometimes tell you pretty personal shit that could fuck up things in their real life, i’d rather not run the risk of
putting someones personal life on blast all over the internet.

There is room for improvement, it would have to be done as an option so u could play as a purist still.
At a minimum it would be good to revitalize dead spells that are never an option in a close game. If exorcism were as cheap as runes at 1,000 u might see a lot more dongs, I know SG loves dongs. With invisible humans are a solid defensive race. A viable defense against lust is slowing a back of ogers and mage bombing them. Problem is the range on slow sucks and u have to basically sacrifice a mage to maximize damage when it’s usually more effective to just cast double blizz.
Conservative balance: Exo 1,000, Slow extend the range. Fix balista misfire bug.
Extreme balance: Double the mana capacity of Humans, would make hit and run attacks in conjunction with slow and birds a viable tactic while you mass knights and pick them apart with invisible.

Give humans a 1500, 300 lvl 5 upgrade.
