This is pretty fun actually, i tried the mod recently and it’s pretty hard.  Thanks danny for making these mods

There is a mod created which focuses on just the heal. it uses auto
heal but the orcs still more op, but it’s a lot more manageable.

This is a port to warcraft 2 bnet engine.
There will be a modified version with the features below.  There will also be a vanilla version which will not have as many extra features.

Good post Harry!

I think the IGl on Kali was the best aspect of WC2.  Find a way to recreate that and maybe you will have players come back. 

In the end though, only way to retain new players is to play in new player games(comp stomps, water maps, funky maps).. Trog does this well and is increasing his blueprint in gog.  Stop the massive orig gow picks.

also the discord is very lazy, needs to be reorganized with actual players chatting to help your hundreds of new players coming in with not a single response to

As far as the dropping, the script.bin is exactly the same (just pointing to different images in the same sprite selection).  There are no event/prog changes in the files.
I've tested this many games in multiplayer with great success (not a single drop/desync).  I imagine if you are changing the event/prog lines of each single script, then yes, a desync is likely.
