Newbie here (technically), had a couple questions!
« on: January 20, 2016, 05:07:12 AM »
Sorry to bother with some noob questions, I used to play this game a tooooooooooon when I was a pre-teen and just got the BNE to play again as an adult! So I wanted to play coop with my girlfriend against AI's and I figured out how to ally with her and share vision/coop victory but I can't seem to find a way to set AI difficulty or to make the computer players allied with each other against us. Are the options just not there or am I missing something?

I have the Warcraft II BNE verson 2.02 for reference.

Thank you guys, would appreciate the information!

You cannot set the computers to hard or easy... just more computers = more hard. You don't need to make the computers ally each other against you, they will all attack you guys and not kill eachother

This.
Just a note: If you use war2combat you just can use AIE (AI extended) to have stronger comps on some maps only (all maps placed in AIE directory). Then both of you should install combat with option AIE instead of campaign during the installation process.
Need help to translate War2Combat to German, French, Italian, Polish or another language: http://forum.war2.ru/index.php/topic,4728.0.html
Please, contact me if you are interested in that.

I mean as a guy with the intention of growing the community I wish he'd dl the combat version and play with us. But Yamon get's to play with a girl or no one can play wc2 is a pretty shitty ultimatum that you have zero entitlement to! If you had a girlfriend you'd have the OPTION to play with your girlfriend. But you don't, so you'll play warcraft at home by yourself with people you will likely never meet. He has the choice, you don't.
I love this game!
