People who are living healthy lifestyles are essentially bulletproof against this virus. Assuming you don't have some sort of unfortunate genetic predisposition or autoimmune deficiency, or so old that the flu would likely kill you as well... You're fine.

But there's absolutely no discussion about losing weight. Exercising. Eating healthy. Or taking vitamin supplements if you are not getting enough vitamins in the food that you eat. The message that is being sent is take these vaccines that make big pharmaceutical companies extremely wealthy, which in turn makes mainstream media outlets where the big pharmaceutical companies spend hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising very rich, and politicians who are in bed with the pharma companies very rich.

Fear is a hell of an emotion.. and it got jon at least to COMPLETELY do a 180 on the ideas his screen name seems to suggest.. and be a propaganda pushing pawn for the elite.

All you have to do is look at the income inequality Gap over the last 3 years. The wealthy have increased their wealth insane amounts throughout this pandemic, at the less financially fortunate's expense.

Do you just think that's a coincidence?

it's not a coincidence because it happens every 3 years forever in this country, until we destroy it and build socialism

Let’s be real here.

Covid-19 has become a political statement and has little to do with science or medicine.
Blid and Marx are clear and their ideology.
Unfortunately for both of you the sentiments aren’t shared by the majority of Americans.
In the next political cycle that will be evidenced by the American electorate.

Blid literally believes and he is welcome to correct me if I’m wrong.
“Nobody should ever take their mask off when they step outside even if their fully vaccinated. Doesn’t matter if their eating or drinking. Nobody should ever take their mask off.”

The speech of a cynic that hates his country and society.
And wants everyone else to hate their country and probably their lives lol.

Yeah covid-19 is a good thing in truth. For all my ranting at Blid and Marx about how it is bad will say I have increased my monthly income by 400% as a result of it.
Would have been impossible without all these mandates and restrictions.

I do say keep an n95 mask on at all times when you’re in public, at least for right now. Personally wearing the mask doesn’t bother me at all so I’ll continue wearing one in the grocery store etc for the foreseeable future because the trade off of increased safety at no cost to me is worth it.

but for people who melt down at the idea of wearing a mask and maybe eating outdoors or doing takeout instead of dine in, I would say at least act safely during these surges.  this omicron surge began here mid December and is beginning on its way back down, so that would mean like 2 months maybe of increased caution.  3000 people are dying a day, and while that obviously skews toward older or less healthy people anyone can be unlucky and just get wrecked. Moreover, even mild cases that people recover from with no real trouble in the moment can have long lasting effects.

For example, having covid increases your chances of getting diabetes by 30%, even for kids

It can cause autoimmune issues

There’s more. And it’s early to say, but these could be problems that follow you for life.

Note that this is hardly an “ideological” opinion as the so-called left continuously rambles on about vaccines, and while I do support them I admit they’re not a fail safe and I focus more on wearing good masks when you’re in situations where you could be exposed.

The garbage Democratic Party will surely be crushed but they also 100% down the line support keeping everything open no matter what. They are not trying to do anything at all to combat covid except belatedly send out some tests or masks over a month after they should have. Democratic mayors in major cities are keeping schools open at all costs. When they surely lose in future elections, which covid policy exactly do you plan on pointing toward?

Your welcome to have this opinion and there is nothing wrong with this opinion.
But I will say many people with said opinions about masking outdoors tend to try and push their opinions upon others.
As long as you others accept not everyone will agree with your opinions and continue living their lives without masking knowing the risks I see no problem.

The problem will only come when trying to force mandate masking upon everyone.
