Why is there 3 combat versions? Delete the 2 old ones, they are uncessary and just add confusion to new players trying to download the game. Especially since the new version contains antihack.

I don't understand where anyone is seeing "server.war2.ru."  But I don't think anyone trying to use a public Diablo key, if they do see that url somewhere, is really going to care...

When they login it will say key in use by server.War2.ru

it might be better if we had banned all customs like ldir wanted when the server was founded, but idk.  he wanted to ban fastest too.  the problem is, though, you complain about "no names" - how is the game ever going to survive if all new people get booted for being no names or sucking or not knowing s9?  y'all killing the community's potential yourselves.  customs are the only thing these newbies are even allowed to play a lot of the time

jon is right tho and ganz isnt smart or anything - anyone could tell you a 20yr old game will have its player base dwindle.  the only reason there's still anyone playing this game is cuz of our private server and burnt getting the word out when he did.  otherwise the game would have died from the cd key requirement

There are multiple broodwar servers with thousands on each one, your excuse is invalid.
