Title: "Your password have been leaked from war2.me"
Post by: iL on June 16, 2015, 12:00:38 PM: Well, i compared the accounts on war2.me with accounts on server.war2.ru

Everyone who have the same password will receive mail with a message:

Your password have been leaked from war2.me, account is denied to play. Please, change password and contact admins to unlock. Sorry.

That means you are not able to create and join games using this account.
The reason is just to prevent some kind of winbotting attacks

I will not publish the exact number of stolen passwords, but there's about several hundreds.
I'm pretty sure most of them are abandoned.

Otherwise you feel free to ask any admin about to unlock your account to continue playing. Your account will be unlocked right after admin makes sure your ip looks as yours.

I use internal PVPGN feature to deny hosting and joining games.
I also thought about muting accounts, but decided that it isn't necessary.

And Im also always gonna remember the first day we know lightbringer- was choose to be admin, everyone was crying about it because they know he will be a dumb ass and he was probably an hacker.
