Griefing is a daily thing on almost every online game and will always exist, it is not exclusive to warcraft 2. There are many things you can do to combat griefing in some games, Discing is a form of both griefing and cheating though. Griefing in that you're wasting the other persons time by making them watch you on a drop screen for 45 seconds. and cheating in that they are removing their losses, and your wins from the ladder and in-game stats.

Regular griefing would be killing watchers, hiding units when losing rather then just leaving, playing a team game, building towers in your allies base under the impression you will protect them, then unallying them when they are all finished upgrading. Hilarious for the person doing it im sure, not so fun for the person on the receiving end.

I am just bringing that up because if we are going to complain about players doing stupid shit and taking extreme actions on each and every case we probably wont have any player to play with before we are done...

Extreme actions would be permanently banning each person that did something like this, which no one is asking for. stuff like this does need to be punished though, to discourage people from continuously doing it, It's cheating no matter which way you look at it, you may not be using something to help you win a match, but you are wiping a win from someone elses record, including their ladder ranked record. And removing a loss from ever happening on your own.One way of fixing it is to make the ladder just count the disconnected games as wins for the person not disconnecting. But that still doesn't change the in-game win/loss being effected, cheating the ladder in most other games would have severe consequences, given our playerbase, severe might not be the best way to go, but there still needs to be punishments in place for cheating like this. no ones gonna quit a game they played for 20 years because they got banned for a week for cheating ladder. Or got their akas revealed for cheating. Which this absolutely is, Altering another players Wins & losses without beating them in a match is absolutely cheating.

alot of the spells need some tweaking in some way as most of them are hardly even used by players.  Whether its mana cost, gold cost, research time or something else. No one is gonna have their nostalgia ruined by some number tweaking to a spell they ain't seen used in 5+ years which they probably didn't even know the gold & mana cost of anyway due to how much of an afterthought it is to them. Even if it was bloodlust getting touched in a patch, and say its duration was lowered by 1.5 seconds, do you think any returning players would actually even notice that?

Good change to heal overall, but it should have an option somewhere to turn off the auto cast on heal so you can at least exorcism or holy vision. The auto healing in middle of combat without interrupting your attacks is really nice too!

introduce them to other good players so they knw that they ar trying to learn
i use to help n train quite a few players, alf-attack, poiyot winchester areyouwetyet shade, and heaps others i cant remember atm

That timer in your screenshot isn't from the game actual game itself, people  have those sort of things when speedrunning every game on speedrun.com. @Szwagier  had the record for most of the campaign stuff last i checked, he'd probably be a good person to ask on how to setup that sort of stuff.

I started watching Tna in like early-mid 09, when Sting was still in the MEM, I started watching it because of him.

I remember a thread you posted a bunch of screenshots a few years back on here of  some wrestling board posts, lot of which mentioned tna and vince russo lol
