Yes, but you had people like grubby, moon, th00, infi, lyn, and others who won as well. Here you have, u8 and swift for the last how many years? And swift barely participates.

The same people are going to win and lose. We know this, right? It's not like it's some big tournament showdown where everyone is super excited and into it. (RIP swift/st) It's just handing people like u8/st/medivah some money every season is all. Might as well put them on the payroll.

I wonder what they voted for. I hate to say it but, who cares? Ladder resets in other games are I think once or twice a year? Actually, I only played War3 tbh, so that's my reference. There just isn't enough talent and consistent play for this to be warranted.

How many people watched u8 vs medivah for this season? VERY few. U8s stream was 15 viewers on his stream and I'm not sure there were even obs in the games. Who is this for?

Somehow, we believe in the honor system here. I'm with TK tbh. At least, have that for like ladder and/or tournaments. People still give advice when they obs. It just needs to be selective and that is difficult to do or becomes a fine line. The truth is, phones/discord/etc will do the same thing if someone is not playing who is obs.

This was brought up before when upon implementation. It didn't go through. It is what it is.

The most underrated feature of this game is /squelch. I do it to Van all of the time. I'm personally tired of engaging in such arguments. That was one of the reasons BS left for sure. I recall some of the chats I've seen. He was pretty brutal. You can't control what people say but what you can control is how you handle it. Argue and get mad at the people/game or you can avoid it and play with people you can play with. The more you play, the better you get and the more people you meet.

Everyone doesn't need to be friends. It would be nice, but I've never seen or heard of a game where that is the situation. Ours is unique in terms of the smaller community, I get that. I'll go back to what I've said for years and years. Host your own games. Be in control of you. Everyone doesn't need to play in every game hosted or with the top players. I get obs'd when the top people are playing sometimes, and I accept it.

The biggest reason for shit talking is competition due to skill gaps. Relate this to life. If you are the worst worker at a job, you are probably going to get fired. If you are the worst player for a sports team, you will get dropped. If you are a bad bf/gf, you will get dumped, if you are a terrible student in a school project group, people will dislike you and not want to be with you again. This is life people and all of these examples are relative. I've seen noob games where people do the same as the higher skilled games.

If you are the "worst", don't take it personally. This is based on skill, not necessarily who you are as a person. (Everything I say is a generalization) If you suck and people give you shit, be in control of you. You can say things like, I'm sorry man, I'm really trying. What could I have done better? I've said that to someone before who was very mean to me and that stopped it believe it or not.

Let's translate this to real life, put 50 people together in a room/community/whatever. Do they all get along? Put 20 people together, do they all get along? This is life people, not Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. Handle this like you would handle life.

I'm 100% for the effort of inclusion but I do still want to play my competitive games, or I wouldn't play. That is for many other people as well.

I get ya, but I've been around for many years too though. Not just this year. The other trolls are 100% part of it. I said, "I'm not saying it's all you because it is not". In general, it would just be nice to stay on topic. Most forums filter that stuff out and will delete unrelated posts. It's more about being productive than anything.

There really needs to be a more active moderator for this forum. Tora, I know you do it sometimes but not daily or necessarily weekly. I also know you are the only admin that does anything tbh. (appreciated)

Honestly, and EQ, yes, I'm going to throw some shade right now but I'm being direct, out of respect. I'm also taking some blame. The forums tend to get a bit rowdy when you get worked up. The last, 6 months or something, when you were not active, the forums were fairly quiet and not all mucked up. I'm not saying it's all you because it is not, but you bring a decent amount of it.

I would urge people, including myself, to start a new topic if you are going to go off topic and mess up someone else's post. I understand my responding does not help either. I am guilty of that. Naturally, small comments here and there will happen, and that's fine but when it gets crazy, it needs to be stopped and/or deleted.

Sometimes there are valid things to say and topics that need to be brought up, yes, but that needs to be moved to its own thread. @~ToRa~

Already told you above. "The_0ne_Cr0w" IT IS.

EQ find out the answer yourself or shut the fuck up about it already. Go fucking ask him you moron. Be an adult. You have absolutely no motivation to find out the answer to your random speculation when the answer is something that can simply be found out. You just want to bitch to bitch.

Stop being a dramatic woman and find the facts. It's not that fucking hard man. You make simple things so complicated and annoying for everyone. Tora telling me the answer and then me telling you will do absolutely nothing, as you will continue to deny. You know this. We both know this. Why the hell would you even say it?

Next time, I will ask for the access, ask what the command even is, and then ban your ass and tell you to your face. I might even hold my own tournament again just for that. Then you can be right for once. You are like a little kid sometimes, jesus christ. You are not as smart as you think.

Tora- you should remove all of these unrelated posts- it is taking away from the original post  @~ToRa~

"We had a top SC player who got good real fast and kept getting banned for being a smurf (EQ)."

This is the only thing I said with your name in it. It was just the truth is all. Not shit talking.

For the 80th time, I did not do anything pertaining to you and the channel. I simply squelched you to myself. /squelch equinox. Go ask Tora for the logs, for the 80th time.

I won't lie, you got pretty good at 1s for a bit there when you were playing it a lot.

Clan DW welcomed all new players, played games with everyone, and played many different maps. Unfortunately (b/c he is gone), that was ran by Burnt... Get him back and motivated and that'll be a huge plus to your project. Also, there you have it, copy his model. A clan of new players or players who will play with anyone. I think a lot of DWs went to USA actually. I may be wrong.

I train any new players I see and ask them if they plan on playing this game for a bit or just randomly here and there throughout the year typically. I tell them to msg me the next day to play more or get games, but most do not. I spend at least an hour teaching and talking to them. To see it go nowhere does affect my future motivations though.

Only a few new players have stuck. We had a top SC player who got good real fast and kept getting banned for being a smurf (EQ). I taught him but it didn't take a ton of effort due to the similarities in the games. He got tired of the community and quit too. TheOneCrow I think? I taught ForTheKing I think was his name. He may smurf now, but he played a lot and was getting a hang of it. The smurf king, Bloody, at an early point. Momo, I think he plays on USA, and 1 other, I forget.

I would also urge new people to NOT smurf. I think that really hurts their chances of playing games.

A TRAINING MODE NEEDS TO BE MADE!! (ie- infinite timeouts to explain- resources reset for teaching different/new spots in the same game- unit resets, etc) Very difficult to show things with the correct timing when you are building and typing.

Fixed it.

Used Nvidia Control Panel. Went to Adjust Desktop size and position, under Display. Scaling to Full-screen. Perform Scaling on: GPU. Delay is about 1 second max.

Lastly, would the refresh rate matter? This new one seems to be default to 59.9 but I can change to 60 or 75 as well.

Cool, that worked for the bars. There is no way to make the windowed chat channel part bigger though?

Thanks fellas.

Option 2's tab takes about 3 seconds still.

Option 3 is good except when you start the game, I can only use half of my monitor.

Why did it go from 2 second normal default delay to 4 though? (before I tried any of these changes)
