Notice to all members, as 2015 comes to an end I wanted to share a few thoughts with you. Recently, our USEast counterparts have decided to cease operations and move on from Battle.net after more than 15 years of service to the Battle.net community. After a long discussion, MANOWAR and I have also decided to follow suit and start winding down activities here. Effective immediately, we will cease recruitment. We believe this is the best course of action as the custom community is dying a slow painful death (…along with the rest of the server) and member quality is hard to come by from the rampant trolls, emos, and hackers that plague this server. So to preserve clan integrity, we have decided to just end it. Thank you to all members for your company and loyalty since 2008…it’s been fun, keep it real. This page will remain open and updated periodically for archival purposes, any questions please post below.

Nice Ryu the icon looks good. Those were good times back on east when there were many clans Killa, M[k, FU, Fallen, so on with many players still active. Clan games/wars and to me especially PBall were epic. 60 Man 4v4 clan wars or other PBalls, good shit. With the old PBallers I've got back on the server, and the few new ones I've gotten I'll tell them about Evil if they are looking for a clan. I Might add something about Evil  in one of my group posts as well.

Erm,  sorry, but battle.net didnt even exist in 1996,  neither did the evil clan.  I believe you are talking about 2006,  not 1996.  Thats a 10yr difference :P  But even then, I dont remember seeing Evil pop up until maybe 2008 on RU or so.

Yes EviL did start on Ru in 2008, when you hosted the server. I remember because of the cool icons every clan had [emoji11].

Well thats because he knew what reply would come next since SC didnt come out until 1998? ;)  Also, War2 was not made from SC silly.  It's the other way around heh.  I dont have keys to login to normal bnet servers anymore.  I dont even think they work do they? haha.  In either case,  it was fun jabbing you for an obvious wrong date lol.

The cd keys and original servers are still online...badly outdated thought lol. Warcraft 2 is dead on all servers, Starcraft is still active tho...but you get the occasional server dos and the whole thing is down for a week [emoji58].

Warcraft orc and human was relesed, after that w2 and expansions, Starcraft and expansions.... look at the sc alpha looks like war2.

Okay I see now. 1999 w2bnet came out, Starcraft in 1998.

Warcraft 1 was Blizzards first game, Warcraft 2 was their breakout hit. After that came Diablo and THEN Starcraft. So Tupac is right Starcraft was kind of made from Warcraft, they were able to make Starcraft because of Warcraft's success. They also got the name Starcraft from a play on Warcraft.

Though war2 mpq i found sc stuff in War2 mpqs.

That tells me either sc started to get built off of war2. Or Sc stuff was removed and not all though then added war2.

Also sc is iso graphics not like war2. All mostly the same with different pictures. And sc had triggers and shit that was added onto the engine.

And I also could have swore the developer said most programmers move on to starcraft to rush it's development. That's why it crashed alot....

So it's possible your clan did exist with starcraft the year of release because it came with battle.net on release. Then they patched war2 to bnet and other games.

But you are wrong sc was made from war2, you can tell by the screen shots of sc alpha and stated above.. they didn't say they ditch it but kinda hinted it. I think they just made updates to the war2 engine and built it into starcraft.

When I reverse sc and war2 they are similar.....

Starcraft was made from Warcraft... I did not mean in the programming and game mechanics. I mean in the way Warcraft was blizzards first real time strategy hit and got them popular. Starcraft was a play on their Warcraft real time strategy idea and they even named it STARcraft playing on their previous real time strategy WARcraft. Warcraft 2 was also never patched to allow battle.net, you had to buy a new game Warcraft II Battle.net Edition.

starcraft alpha is made in a modified war2 engine. ive read its a very close to complete game but people called it "orcs in space" "war2 in purple" etc...then blizz made the sc1 engine.

it showcased at E3 in 1996.
could be brought back to life using a tc and custom maps so it would be compatable with ru server.but some of thier units are ridiculously huge.

could u ever find the alpha tupac? blizz got it under lock and key. i got some betas, cool voices and pre units for sc1.

I was playing sc2 last night. LOVE desert strike. Would be awesome to make a war2 map like that but no trigger ......

looking at Evil~Korn's 1v1 record on ladder.war2.ru leads me to believe he is a smurf in clan evil. Most likely a common gow/ef player average/slightly above average that we all know.

I highly doubt he doesn't know how to take/post ss.

I'll have to disagree with that, he's been on the server for about the year with a few months of absence...I met him on his first day on the server, he really didn't know much of anything. He mostly played solo games by himself against comps during that time, he's only recently started to play GoW publicly.

Weirder stuff has happened, so idk. If an admin really feels it's worth their time, I welcome them to investigate his ip history. We ban people constantly, I am just trying to keep people playing, if Shasta and you or any of the other GoW players want to create a hostile environment for players go ahead I won't stop you.

im not trying to create a hostile environment .. im just saying common sense tells me he would not have the 1v1 record he has vs solid gow/ef players on gow/ef unless he was a smurf with a more common name and history on gow/ef

its not uncommon at all for smurfs to go to great lengths to convince other players they're not smurfs.. like making up some story about how they're new and even put on a show for certain people to convince them they really are telling the truth (like playing newb maps.. or intentionall playing worse than they are for periods of time while on smurf name)

This is that dark angel fool aka Zeus...just changed his forum name. So hell no, anyways, AH isn't mandatory yet server wide so no we aren't recruiting randoms anymore.

Clan is still around Tupac...I just don't care to do clan recruitment on this server until the hacking problem is dealt with a uniform and consistent program. Like usual your support and membership is appreciated.

I have tried it, but it doesn't work. This game is "suppose" to be fun. Randoms don't understand the SS policy no matter how many times you try to explain it to them...they deny SS, community hoes get mad and admins ban them just for that. Not wasting my time recruiting for that and nor should you.
