I don't think the red bars in chat mean anything, I have seen it many times on others and maybe myself too, and it hasn't affected anything as far as I know.

Ok thanks, that works at least for start of the game. I would still prefer it to randomly play orcs music when I play orcs and human when I play humans just like in single player. I don't have time or even remember to type commands during the heat of the battle

You should be able to return it from avira virus vault and make it an exception so it won't delete it.

I don't see install.exe in your warcraft 2 folder so that might be the problem. I just tried a new install with the same file as you and it included that file. Maybe your antivirus has deleted it?

@Mistral Could you change the buildings descriptions to match what they do? Now it's impossible to know what everything does if you don't know it already or have this forum open in second screen and that's pretty inconvenient especially for new players.
