1) i think ive heard of it being done before ... but right now the two of them are having insane lag trying.

does anyone know the solution?

2) if thats not possible or whatever .. isnt it possible to play LAN (im not sure if thats the same as direct connect.. i think so)

cant they just link computers together with ethernet cable or whatever and play eachother using direct connect?

if anyone has any knowledge about this it will be greatly appreciated.

This site pretty much tells you exactly how to do it .. its not complicated if you follow every step. I made the mistake of skipping a step which is why it took me so long.

If you want to do it and want some help, I feel like i've made enough errors to know how to do it correctly now and i'd be more than willing to help. Lance probably will too

The setup I am using is Xsplit BROADCASTER & uscreen .. it's working out really well

if anyone wants to ally in some gow/ef and possibly even chat in team speak during the game PLEASE let me know. it would be really cool and 10000x more interactive for anyone watching the stream to actually hear the players discussing whats going on instead of watching the typing

how come axe thrower is higher rank on the forums than a grunt?

a grunt would kick axe throwers ass

i dont know how the ranking is or if it's already been worked out BUT i think...

peon   1-50
axe thrower 50-200
grunt 200-500
ogre 500-1000
dragon 1000-2000
death knight 2000-4000
ogre mage 4000+

or something like that .... thats just my thoughts on it

who would we talk to to fix it?

PLEASE stay on topic ... i'd like this thread to be strictly about fixing our hosting issue on the server... A good healthy discussion/brainstorming session about fixing our hosting on the server.

Thoughts iL ? ... Blid told me to mention "upnp"  im not exactly sure what that is but maybe you will know.

Does anyone have any real good guess as to how much it would cost to advertise our server? or where would be good places to advertise?

Obviously the ideal place would be somewhere that has a lot of traffic from gamers, that would charge the least... im just not quite sure where that would be.
