Regarding yesterday's revelations from our players:
1. Cheating in any online game is unacceptable - thereby destroying the entire atmosphere of trust between players and the healthy spirit of competition.
Cheaters are the reason why many online games lose popularity.

And you can’t talk about this with anyone, or open your soul - after all, they will immediately judge you, reject you, stop playing with you, and stop considering you an honest person. And my conscience gnaws! And it will gnaw and destroy for the rest of its life. Or until the truth comes out.
And think before you “try” - is it worth it to conduct such “experiments”?
3. Still, admitting to deception is much better for the person himself than keeping it to himself. Guilt greatly destroys the psyche and sometimes the body. And for what? Hide from other people and destroy yourself? Is it worth it? Yes, by making such confessions, you inevitably lose your reputation in front of others, and this is the price to pay. But the main thing is that you restore your reputation to yourself! You remove a stone from your soul. The main thing is that you understand that you definitely won’t do anything like that in the future, and you become better. Of course, you lose faith from others, but it will be restored over time, the main thing is faith in yourself!
We will not take any measures from the administration:
- firstly, if you confessed yourself, it’s much better than being “caught by the hand,”
- secondly, and this follows from the first, if you confessed, most likely you will no longer want to take the dubious path,
- thirdly, retribution still comes in the form of loss of trust of other people. But this is the price you have to pay to clear your conscience. And this retribution is ultimately necessary for the person himself in order to cleanse himself. But this is beyond the competence of project administrators.
I urge everyone who has something to confess to do so. Experiencing the consequences in the form of judging other people will be much better for the person himself than constantly experiencing pangs of conscience. However, of course, this is everyone’s personal choice.

Mirrors worked fine (online mirror and backup mirror, pointed to server.war2.ru and backup.war2.ru)

I play from time to time. I was trying to remember my password and I did too many tries it boot me out of Battle.net. I would create a new account because I don't care about that account, but I can't even entry Battle.net menu.
And I didn't read any error message, so, how long I will be banned or do I have to do something?

Yes, hackers trying to bruteforce passwords from time to time, so we have to make some simple protection system against them.
pvpgn and war2 doesn't know about password bruteforcing, so there's no any messageboxes included.
Ban should expire itself in 12 hours or something like that...

Several months of hard and secret work resulted in the creation of one of the most advanced additional campaigns for Warcraft 2!
The latest technologies and developments were involved, various previously unseen game mechanics were introduced.
The War2ru team has once again raised the bet on the quality and level with which new campaigns should be released!
In addition to the ordinary missions (oh, no, they are not ordinary at all!), in which the AI has become MUCH smarter and stronger,
for the first time in the history of Warcraft 2, we have done pre-game TUTORIAL, in the format of a small mission (in the best traditions of newer strategies, for example, Warcraft 3).
During the training, you will be able to appreciate the new control mechanics, new unit abilities, new icons and sprites.
Also, the campaign provides TWO difficulties of the game!
But that's not all! During the game you will be surprised more than once.
But this, we are sure, will not prevent you from passing our campaign.
You might even be able to find our secrets and Easter eggs, who knows?..

The king of the country of Lakitor, one of the kingdoms of the Old World, has received disturbing news about the severance of ties with a distant but rich Colony in the New World.
There are rumors that recently local Orc tribes in the colonized lands began to behave suspiciously actively.
Now a significant part of the country's budget is cut off from the kingdom. And, unfortunately, there is still a long and hard war with the neighboring country of Dorlanes. The king faces a difficult choice: either the continuation of the war, or an attempt to return the Colony.
King Lakhar III makes a choice.
So what, warrior? Stop resting!
It's time to show what you really stand for!

That's why i just checked the list of admins and removed old ones from the list.
Please, let me know if someone should have some access permissions and loose them.

I think that would be possible to do something with that improved sprites!
Probably could be very usefull to do the same for warcraft 1 sprites. We have a WinWar project, the whole 100% compatible code of warcraft: Orcs & Humans:

Could be great to make it Full HD. Though Zelya said about ugly upscale. But if you will be able to make it beautiful, maybe he will be glad to increase the resolution.

Yes, there's a cache, theres also a database.
Is something happens with DB, names being updated in cache.
Some names could be easily stored in cache only or in DB in inconsistent state.
At least everything should work fine now with DB.
