Sorry Knitter. I'll actually aid to the original post now.

I played with all noobs back when I played in the early 2000s. I was in a clan called xRIPx. We were all noobs and we played classic games on fastest and everyone stayed away from GOW because we thought it was gay because that's the only thing people played (ironic). We could beat a lot of them on classic game maps, so we thought we were better than we were.

I'll name some random people most of you may not know but were a part of when I was playing early on. I didn't start playing GOWEF until maybe 2015?

1) xRIPx_Th0rn - he was the leader of xRIPx and our best player. Later found out he hacked though. Not sure what his akas were.

2) xRIPx_x-tah_C- 2nd in command for xRIPx and was leader of war3tft xRIPx clan. I called him once because the clan was going to disband due to his inactivity (we've never spoke outside of war2 ever and I think he forgot he gave me his number years ago just in case). It was super awkward... LOL. "Hello? X_tah-C?" (pretty sure he was high too)

3) xRIPx_Unholy and xRIPx_Nedok and xRIPx_Vizzerdrix(?)- Unholy (terror[is]) was new and I taught him, Vizz (ares) was like 8 years old, and Nedok was pretty good. I list them because I wound up seeing them again 10 years later which I thought was cool. Sort of some of my few old school clannies/friends I had when I first started.

4) Br@d- Classic games guy. For us, he was a higher up skilled player. Reminded me a bit like player (time for player to respond and say it was him). Nice but kind of a lone wolf. Never joined any clans and played mostly all types of games.

5) Buildmorefarms. - Always a nice guy. He was very good at a lot of maps and knew them like the back of his hand. Gold rush was his best one. He still logs on once in a great while.

6) SoCxWarChief - The founder of Socx (which later became clan is or as?). Very respectable guy. Was more about the clan than the actual game. He was always professional and kind. He setup a lot of clan wars for Socx and was a true clan leader.

7) Denni - Barely remembered this name but he played a lot with Socx I think too or was in it. SocxDenni I think. He's another player like Br@d but even better. At the time, he was one of the top players I knew. Never heard of him since. He was around Lux' skill level.

8) I forget Lux's Socx name but they brought that fucker in as a ringer (found out like 4 years ago) when we did clan wars!!! LOL. Him and... I think SocxMaster/Denni beat most of us. Th0rn and maybe 1 other guy could hold their own vs them. Master came back during Covid and was a lot better than I thought he would be. Maybe we weren't THAT noob.

9) Arson666 - First guy I ever played with consistently as a 2s pard when we were both new. I've since seen him one time randomly like 8 years ago.

10) Other Socx- Ghost, StannyDingy, Darksol/Rsldot - Didn't see them for years since I quit. When I came back, they were both playing and I was super excited but both quit like a month later. :(

11) BRAVIET- Ha, almost forgot, we used to play classic games maps on F with him a bit. At the time, he was average I believe.

12) ~~Wooferz~~- When I came back from War3, I wound up playing GOWF. He played it a lot with me, along with other F players at the time (Skunk, OldEnglish, Angel, Sonic[is], Van, Goblin, Redskins, Player, Sparkz once in a while, Masa, Pink, sh4de, and a bunch more that are likely on my /f l) and he was one of those top players. He was very good at 2-3 halling and massing air. Never spoke ANYTHING about his life (like player) when you asked though. He always deflected for some reason. Even now... He also played with his wife sometimes. BeardedGoat.

13) HunglikeOrc/Yah'mon- Didn't know either but Hung had like 100k games and Yah'mon was always on, so I always saw his name the few times I went into that GOW channel that was always full. I forget the name of the channel. Yah'mon came back on 6-7 years ago and played a lot for like 5 months. Got really good again and towards the end, was having a series w/swift and winning some games. I think he lost but it was at least semi close. Then he quit. I asked him why and he said he just wanted to make sure he still had it, hahaha.

14) Baraman- Never knew him or heard of him. He randomly showed up and was playing for a bit (7 years ago?) and I thought he was a smurf. We parded and he dualed 6/8 one game, I died and then he beat 2 pretty good players 2v1 with a 6/8 dual and I was like who tf is he? I guess he is him, lol. Swift says that isn't a smurf. He was a really good, top 3, F player at one point. Swift, Sparkz and Bara.

I came into GOWEF too late. There are a lot of players who played that I was either not playing GOWEF yet or just started and was very new to seeing a lot of people play who are now often talked about. I don't have a good enough memory nor was likely allowed in a lot of those games to begin with. I would have liked to be a part of that but missed my chance.

I know what you're saying, and there is some truth to it, but that doesn't mean people aren't getting better each year. I'm much better than I was 3 years ago and a lot of other people are too. There is a difference between learning something organically and learning through people who have higher skill and are willing to teach. When you learn organically, you go much slower. Learning directly from people who tell you what to do or what is wrong helps you get better a lot faster, if you are willing to learn.

Just because someone was good 10-20 years ago doesn't mean they would be as dominant now a days. If the average skillset has caught up to near where that person was, they won't be as dominant as they were. I'm not saying they won't be good still, they will be, but the talent pool may have caught up compared to before. Even Swift said the average person's skillset on here is much higher than it was back then.

Go watch replays of the pros 20 years ago. Watch their build orders and strats. Not so good compared to now.

Ring- Viruz has beat him on GOW. All the players I mentioned that have beat u8, have beat him. Stop kissing butt! :) <3

Hey, this post isn't about whos the best, but about players from our community who we miss.
We might miss someone because we like them, because they’re funny, because they were a good friends, or because they were a rival who was a lot of fun to play against.

I think u8 is the best of them all, but any one of them could pull off a single win—though probably not win a series.

Dont you miss any players? Or is there a player you find yourself thinking about often?

No you are wrong everyone got his own roof which cant gain more skill, someone after 1 year someone after 10 years its random, if that's true what you said, person who Play longest would be best and not possible to be beat by anyone and its not about warcraft2 but everything

I gave example with 2 names

I'm not sure what your first sentence is about. Because I used the words "were pro"? They almost all stopped playing it. Or because if YWFN was "pro" before, he wasn't at the end of his career? The longer the game is out and the longer people play, the better they get. Many of those who were at the top, who don't play anymore, wouldn't be quite as dominant years after they quit. If you're in a final's championship, you beat out everyone else? Maybe there were no pros in the tournament?

There are 16 people on this list, let's not argue about 1 of them you disagree with. None of those matter. It's just a tangent/deflection. My response was to disprove Ring's response.

If someone was playing w2 10 years and he was good after 5 years it doesnt mean he will be bad at end his carier, unless he stop playing so it

Ywfn was good but never pro, braviet was average when there were mamy players and its not my Words, less players mean someone who were average will be good, bad will be average, noob will be just bad

I was playing w2 rare 06-15

Fyi: Most players now are just gow players which mean they are bad

ya harry server pretty slow xd. SG and ST very strange peoples who sometimes can talks normally and sometimes like a bullshit. Situation : i`ve play vs shotgun 1s battles (4 games) and play normally he said: you`re good player. Next day he just say me NEWB lol.
If we just start ignoring Shotgun and Startale maybe we can play better. I want to talk about AlexTrebek too. Why he can't play on his account? Alex can you write it here

When we played 1on1s you played decently. The next day you totally sucked. You either had someone else log onto your account or you just played bad on purpose the next day because youre a troll. If you cant handle being told you suck at a video game maybe dont use the internet. You guys are so lowly skilled but for some reason you like to argue with players you'll never be able to touch about basic strategy. Maybe if you took feedback on board you would improve. (No doubt you will try to argue about what I just said). One example of this is Talrand who actually listens and learns instead of crying. Hes probably a top 5 player now when a few years ago he was mediocre.
