Well the amount of players is what it is so normally it would be 2-3 teams that have any change of winning so mixing the pros would make it more interesting at least. The problem is who is pro enough to be on that list and who isn't. Tourny host decision I guess.

First you have to decide if this list is based on players prime, last seen performance, recent performance(removing players not seen in years?) or something else? Can't be all those or they would belong in multiple tiers at the same time.

I think there is still more chop players than other custom players, but most of the chop players are newbs or averages, and the pros/old players we used to know are missing.

Alright, then the 3v3 map might change the gameplay too much imho. Then I say I like 1. regular map the most. Should just make it watchers friendly somehow.

4. 3v3 map sounds interesting, it preserves all the elements of chop without sacrificing hops or random locations. The changed layout needs testing tho as the starting areas are different.
