Title: problem starting the game

Hello, i am trying to start the game after installing it and here is the message of error that i see...

It still doesnt work! The same error message. Can't start the game.

where did you install game? c:/combat? try reinstall in diffrent location

Hello still the exact same error message when i change the location of the install... Other ideas ?

that's really strange. maybe try uninstalling and installing the French version?

I don't see install.exe in your warcraft 2 folder so that might be the problem. I just tried a new install with the same file as you and it included that file. Maybe your antivirus has deleted it?

Yeah i just realised that the antivirus blocked the INSTALL.EXE file... yeah .... what should i do now... It's Avira antivirus.

2022 whos using antivirus, ms defender is enough

You should be able to return it from avira virus vault and make it an exception so it won't delete it.
