Harrywangs is being issued a new challenge from Mac
« on: June 23, 2025, 10:00:24 AM »
I watched Mac lose to archers yesterday... lol.

I'm curious how many times you yourself have won against Swift when he was going archers? I'd put money on that action.  :)) Harrywangs vs Swift, Swift goes archers, Bo5. But if Swift thinks I want it to happen, he won't do it for that reason alone lol. So scrap that plan.

You're actually being issued a challenge from Mac himself, a 10 map series that has been called a "Sharkfight" for over 6 years across multi-map playing servers. Each player picks 5 maps in turns. In the event of a 5-5 score, an 11th map tiebreaker is added, to be chosen either by mutual agreement, or given to viewers/observers to select.

We'll put a bit of money on it to make it more exciting.

If you win all 10 games, you get $150 USD.
You get 1 free loss
If you lose 2, you pay $5
If you lose 3, you pay $20
If you lose 4, you pay $50
If you lose 5 or more, you pay $150
All incomplete games on Aug. 23rd, 2025, shall be counted as losses.

Rules
All games are to be played "one peon" start, EF speed, and random start location.
Chooser gets to pick map, resources, and tileset. Players take turns playing their map selection.
Only decent quality normal playstyle maps where both players have access to gold and lumber are valid, no altered properties allowed (ie. impossible to make dragons, changed build times, 1 hp, extra hp, free build, etc.)

MAP ELIMINATION If you have certain maps you detest, you may eliminate any number of maps from the map playing pool you desire, but whatever number of maps you choose to eliminate from the map pool, Mac will be allowed to eliminate the same number. Eliminating a map eliminates all its versions (ie. HSC all versions, ladder and classic counts as one elimination). For example, if you look at his map selection and say you hate the look of one, you can eliminate that map, and then he can also eliminate one of yours from your list, to be replaced with an alternate map.

Dodges to official challenges are recorded in the Sharkfight records and should you choose to run from this, your score will be recorded as Mac 10, Harry 0 with a dodger label.

You have 2 months to complete this challenge which expires August 23, 2025. Should you require an extension due to strenuous work schedule, travel, or injury, you may receive one upon request. Should you find the inclusion of money added to the series to be stressful or distasteful, we can omit that part upon request and you two will just play for fun.

Mac's map selections are POS and the 4 attached below.

Side note worth mentioning.

Mac has been playing Warcraft 2 multiplayer starting in 2025 when he discovered remastered. A few short months. You should have no reason to be worried to face him other than extreme poltroonery.

Pretty sure I beat him last time he attempted it. The archer loss sounded a lot better until you put the swift part into it, lol. I don't 1v1 anyone 1 time generally. 10x is nuts. Idk who Live is but it sounds very Babyshark who always bugged me to 1v1. Actually, Mac is Babyshark I bet. That makes more sense.

My point is simply this: Don't laugh too hard or trash too loftily those newbs who send you running.

Live and let live. I just play defense.

99%+ of 5-6 months W2 players would lose to Swift's archers.

In my view, if you want to trash people, like you did in 2017, and tell people they're too newb to play W2, be prepared to back it up with 1s series. If you can't, probably best to hold your peace.

It's especially sad to target little newb girls and brand new players whom you assume won't fight back.

I'm actually pro trash talk and fun banter and all that jazz when it's among friends and people you actually fight against.

I happen to think the new guy did great winning a tournament that included a number of feisty veteran players less than half a year into his W2 multiplayer career. He's already gutsy enough to be coming for your throat. Guy's a beast. ;D

He has the moxie to fight against archers and respect the skill level of someone who can do that. Mocking him for it is a tad unnecessary. Np.

This is true but losing to archers and then winning a tournament a day later is worth pointing out the irony, which I find humor in. You always pretend to be new, which is a detriment to the game. I've spent plenty of time teaching new people and standing up for them to play. Anyone brand new is likely not on here, especially from remastered.

You are still talking about 2017... 8 years ago. I've said the same thing multiple times to you, but you still hold onto it. We 1v1'd a few times, it was not a very challenging matchup at the time. You just continued and continued to ask me to 1v1 but I did not want to anymore. I rarely 1v1 anyways. I got annoyed when you did not stop. That's it. I have nothing against you.
