Why was Equinox banned for two days and several other players?

Would appear there is another Admin account on the server. Would it be possible to see the admin actions that have been applied past 2 days and remove all accounts that aren’t authorized access?

It was me.

Equinox was being obnoxious and accusing me of being Swift. I used my power granted and observed in the past by Tora to implement a 48 hour ban.

He is the only player who was banned aside from a short ban for talrand, who GreenGoblin the newest admin to our RU team decided should be unbanned, and I had planned that. We unbanned Talrand, but Equinox's ban remains for 48 hours, about 30 hours left. I told him he is allowed to play on his proxy accounts he's using.

I've had admin of the Facebook pages for years and years, and it's been known by Tora and a few of my friends I am admin on the server as well. I have appointed AA.GreenGoblin as an admin, and he is just planning to do normal admin duties like say TK, but I am going to just focus on my PBall tournaments as always.

The PBall tournaments and any tournaments for customs I'll host in the future will be on my xXxSmeagolxXx name which remains with no admin powers still, except my IRL Facebook Admins.

There's nothing amiss, and this is well known by Tora and I, and AA.Greengoblin, whom I appointed as Admin last night when all this happend. Not a big issue.

Anyways I've got real life going on, goals and priorities outside of Warcraft 2. I'll be around of course playing RPG's and PBalls. My friends and I will continue as always. It's good being back after a 40 day break.

Just checked logs:
Account "Lightbringer-" have been probably hacked and used for some unauthorized activity.

That's why i just checked the list of admins and removed old ones from the list.
Please, let me know if someone should have some access permissions and loose them.

Just to give a bit more context here.

It would appear Smeagol gained access to Lightbringers account then promoted one of his smurf accounts to channel admin.
Then he used /ban on Equinox and another player. To be clear though /ban doesn't ban a player from the server, it only bans them from the War2BNE channel.
After issues bans it would appear smeagol then promoted 10 players to channel admin before logging off.

All promoted players to channel admin have now been removed and all channel banned players have been lifted.
Also we have locked Lightbringers account and will be removing access to all admins whom are inactive for an extended period of time.

That is only a small part of the full story.

I had the access to Lightbringer- of my own finding any means.

I then in a round about way told Tora about this, and made him a bet about banning him from the server myself a year later.

A year later after all this I told Tora that I had admin of the server, and new the website to use for admin stuff too. I was already Facebook admin on the Warcraft 2 Server RU pages, and still am. So he just said okay, that doesn't cause any issue basically, said that's cool Smeagol kind of thing.

This has been going on for a few years, the Equinox thing was just because he was being obnoxious and I just came back from a 42 day break. This really isn't a big issue.

Il and Mistral as I said are great for all they've done for this game, and people like me and Tora also who host tournaments, and were friends for years on this game and IRL messages and all.

I'm doing great in life, and this game will continue to do well for years with Il and Mistral and the community playing and interacting. I love Warcraft 2 and I know so many of you do too. This is just goes to show you that we all have friends that go back years on this game, me more than most others, this game is old.
